Stella
Owner: Terri
Challenge
Stella was a friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy who loved everyone she met. With no previous formal training, she needed a foundation in everyday manners and help managing her excitement around people. Terri wanted Stella to come when called, sit, remain in position, walk beside her, and greet people without jumping. Sleeping through the night was also on the family’s wish list.
Training Focus
Building attention and eye contact, introducing foundational commands, and helping Terri understand how to continue Stella’s training as she matured. The family’s priorities included recall, Sit with implied duration, Heel, and calmer greetings.
Result
According to her family, Stella learned the basics of eye contact and commands at seven months old. Terri gained practical tools to continue building on those skills as Stella grew. Stella remained an enthusiastic social butterfly, and the family continued practicing calmer greetings. Her progress provided a foundation for ongoing learning.
Stella's journey
"“Ron was great with our new lil Stella. He gave us the tools to continue with her training as she gets older. At 7 months he taught her all the basics of eye contact and commands. She's such a social butterfly we're still working with wanting to let everyone pet her with excitement! He is kind and caring for the dogs he trains. Very worth the money and time!!”"
