Focused one-on-one training in your home
10-Day In-Home Intensive Training
I Do the Training. I Teach You the Skills. You Build on the Progress.
I come to your home for ten focused training visits and personally do most of the hands-on work with your dog. Your program is built around the behaviors that matter most to your family, with dedicated owner coaching so you can confidently continue the training.
Positive Reinforcement • Gentle Guidance • Clear Communication
One premium training program
$2,500
$250 per training day • 10 visits
10 in-home training days
Typically scheduled over two weeks.
Two hours per visit
20 total hours, including owner coaching time.
2 included 60-minute owner coaching sessions
Included within your ten scheduled training visits.
Built around your dog's goals
Personalized instruction, progress updates, and a maintenance plan.
The in-home advantage
Training where daily life actually happens.
Your dog stays at home. I work on skills in familiar surroundings, including the rooms, doors, walks, and routines where you need good manners. Because I handle the majority of the early practice, you can focus on learning the timing, marker system, and guidance needed to carry those skills forward.
This is trainer-led daytime instruction—not boarding, and not ten days of nonstop drills. Sessions include appropriate breaks and work matched to your dog.

How the program works
Focused training. Clear owner guidance.
I evaluate your goals
I review your dog's history, existing skills, household routines, and the specific improvements you're looking for.
I lead ten training visits
I work directly with your dog through structured, individualized lessons in your home and appropriate nearby settings.
You learn how to maintain progress
I coach you through cue delivery, marker timing, reward placement, and handling techniques, then leave you with a clear maintenance plan.
Individual training objectives
What your dog can learn
I'll customize the priorities to your dog. The list below is a menu of potential goals—not a promise that every skill will be mastered in ten days.
- Focus, engagement, and response to cues
- Sit, down, and place with implied duration
- Loose-leash walking and appropriate heel work
- Recall foundations and long-line practice
- Doorway manners and calmer greetings
- Practical household behavior and individualized goals
A typical ten-day roadmap
A clear progression, adapted to your dog.
The exact sequence depends on your dog's needs, confidence, and progress. Owner coaching is incorporated during the program, rather than left until the end.
Days 1–2
Engagement & clear communication
Evaluate your dog's starting point, develop focus, introduce or reinforce the marker system, and establish a consistent foundation.
Days 3–5
Essential skills & household manners
Build sit, down, place, and implied duration while practicing the everyday routines that matter to your household.
Days 6–8
Leash manners, recall & distractions
Progress appropriate leash and recall exercises while strengthening distance, duration, and self-control at your dog's pace.
Days 9–10
Owner skill transfer & next steps
Put the pieces together, practice the techniques with you, and establish a realistic maintenance plan for continued progress.
Two included 60-minute owner coaching sessions
Your dog learns. You learn the language.
I personally handle most of the training, but your understanding is what helps the behaviors last. I'll coach you through the same markers, treat placement, cue delivery, gentle guidance, and timing I use with your dog.
Owner coaching includes
- “Yes” marks the correct behavior; reward while your dog remains in position.
- “Free” is the clear release from sit, down, place, or other duration work.
- Give one cue, then guide your dog toward success when needed.
- Practice reinforcement timing and reward placement.
- Review exercises together and leave with a realistic plan for continued practice.
The two coaching sessions are included within the ten two-hour visits, not additional twenty-first and twenty-second hours.
